Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of VoxSign software and services. They cover the Community (open-source) edition and the hosted tiers (Pro, Business, Enterprise). By using VoxSign you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use the service.

1. What VoxSign is

VoxSign is a voice-AI memory platform. The Edge components are licensed under Apache 2.0 and are available at github.com/voxsign-ai/voxsign. The hosted Center and related services are commercial offerings provided by VoxSign AI.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be 16 or older to use the service.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, the privacy policy, or applicable law.

3. Your content

Transcripts, memories, and other data you produce remain yours. You grant VoxSign only the limited licence needed to host, transmit, and process that data on your behalf. We will never sell or share it for advertising.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use VoxSign to record people without their consent where consent is legally required.
• Reverse-engineer the hosted service in ways not permitted by the open-source licence.
• Attempt to extract training data for the purpose of training a competing voice AI.
• Host illegal content or generate content that violates the applicable law of your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Community: free forever, Apache 2.0 open source.
• Pro: paid monthly or annually. Cancel anytime; pro-rated refund on annual plans within the first 30 days.
• Business: per-seat billing, minimum 5 seats, annual commitment; see order form.
• Enterprise: terms set in the Master Services Agreement and Order Form.

6. Service availability

We aim for 99.5 % uptime on the hosted Center. Enterprise customers may negotiate higher SLAs. We are not liable for downtime caused by customer-side self-hosted components or third-party network issues.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The open-source edition is likewise provided without warranty — see the Apache 2.0 licence.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

You may terminate anytime by deleting your account. We may terminate for material breach after a reasonable cure period, or immediately for illegal use. On termination, we delete your data per the privacy policy retention schedule.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts. For enterprise customers in the GCC, we will negotiate local governing law where your procurement requires it.

11. Changes

Material changes will be announced by email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect.
